This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no third-party script of any kind — which is why you were not asked to accept anything. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a short-lived cookie to block automated abuse; that is a strictly necessary security cookie and needs no consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
YourPBX is the data controller for the information you send through this site. You can reach us about anything on this page at privacy@yourpbx.uk.
We collect nothing until you fill in the enquiry form. When you do, we receive:
| What | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Your name | So we know who we are replying to |
| Email address | To reply to you |
| Company name (optional) | To understand who is asking |
| Phone number (optional) | Only if you would rather we rang you |
| Whether you are a business or a reseller, and what you run now | So the first reply is useful rather than a form letter |
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — you have asked a business question and we have a straightforward interest in answering it. We think you would expect us to keep your message long enough to have that conversation. If you would rather we did not, tell us and we will delete it.
Both are processors acting on our instructions. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list. Your enquiry is used to answer your enquiry.
Enquiries are kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. If the conversation turns into an account, the data moves under the terms of that account instead.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
Email privacy@yourpbx.uk and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
Please tell us first — it is usually quicker. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or by calling 0303 123 1113.
The system runs in the United Kingdom. Cloudflare and SMTP2GO operate global networks and may process data outside the UK; both do so under the safeguards required by UK data protection law.
If we change how any of this works we will update this page and change the date at the top.
